It was good to return to my gmail reader to see that the rss feeds to thePowerhouse Museum has worked so effectively. I was enchanted with the photograph of Palmer's Mystery Hike No. 20 in the Lower Blue Mountains in 1932. I found the accompanying story from the SMH to be very interesting.

I was also pleased with  having direct access to a vast amount of historical photographs.
The feed to the blogines is completed but I beliee it is too much information to trawl through. On the otherhand my feed to the ABC News has already given me great satisfaction and I can see that this is going to be of real help in staying abreast of the daily news and also of getting a broader view of the news.

Technology wise, I seem to becoming out the othersideof this steep learning curve.  Now that I have had a password that aworks for the tafe computer it has meant that I have been able to work on the blogs at Tafe. This gave me the opportunity of showing my teacher where I was stumped.  Fortunately Vicki identified that my blog did not have a "dashboard". What a reakthrough moment for me that was.
With a dashboard, I can now work out how to do a fresh post.
